The 2026 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) in Shanghai showcased a clear shift in the cleaning appliance industry: the focus is moving from raw specifications to holistic user experience.
Industry observers noted that competition has shifted from marketing-driven approaches back to product essence, with the current stage characterized by a transformation from "Made in China" to "Intelligently Made in China" . This means features must genuinely improve how people interact with their appliances.
CHO Tech's exhibition presence reflected this philosophy. Rather than chasing extreme specs, the company highlighted thoughtful design elements that matter in daily use: the intuitive LED displays on models like 241S and 239 that show real-time battery status; the Type-C charging on the 237A that lets users charge anywhere using the same cable as their phone; and the super-lightweight 1.3kg J1D that even elderly family members can use comfortably.
"Our design philosophy is simple: technology should serve people, not impress them with numbers," explained a CHO Tech product designer. "The LED display isn't just a screen – it's about never being caught off-guard by a dead battery mid-clean. The 0.9kg weight of our 237A isn't just a number – it means a senior can clean their home without fatigue."
With Jiangsu Province as a key hub for smart appliance manufacturing, CHO Tech's 35,000㎡ facility produces vacuums that embody this user-first approach – from the 1.5kg J2 with its 260W BLDC motor to the 6.7kg J1S with its compact auto-empty station.
